The Hunterdon Art Museum, a center for art, craft and design, was founded in 1952. Located in an 1836 grist mill that is on the National Historic Register, the Museum offers a unique environment for exhibitions and art education. From major trends in contemporary art to quiet personal journeys of individual artists, the Museum is a venue for international, national, local and emerging artists. The Museums education activities for children and adults include more than 200 studio, interpretive and outreach programs each year.
