The Roxey Ballet is a world class contemporary ballet company.

Roxey Ballet began in 1995 as the Hunterdon Youth Ballet when professional dancers Mark and Melissa Roxey brought world class professional dance training and opportunities to Hunterdon County, NJ. Mark and Melissa both had distinguished careers with American dance companies including The Joffrey Ballet, American Repertory Ballet and Dayton Ballet.

As the company began to grow, it changed its name to Roxey Ballet to reflect its development into an outstanding professional dance company with an eclectic group of dancers from all over the world.

RB's performances are dramatic and theatrical. RB presents fresh, kinetic dance choreography that enables dancers to forge an interactive bond with audiences that is greater than a traditional dance performance

Roxey Ballet uses dance to build community and cultural bridges.  The company maintains a full schedule of local, national and international touring. Roxey Ballet was incorporated in 1995 as New Jersey non-profit organization.  Our mission is to deliver artistic and cultural excellence through professional dance performances, residencies, educational programs, workshops and master classes. The company takes pride in its multicultural and all-inclusive organization, fostering a creative environment of growth for all.  Its unique and diverse works, elevating tradition to the next level, are inspirational to audiences and artists alike. Access to high quality dance performance and education is paramount.

Roxey Ballet is fully accessible to those with disabilities. The Roxey Ballet is supported in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts; The Wachovia Foundation, The Horizon Foundation for New Jersey, The Bunbury Company, The Hunterdon County Cultural and Heritage Commission and The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Cultural Trust of NJ and individual donors.

Our season runs September through July.

Some tickets start at $13.80.
